Introduced in 1935, this oldy but goody bears firm, sweet dark red fruits that are quite crack-resistant. It ripens in late July or later, extending the cherry harvest for two weeks or more. Krymsk 7 rootstock.
About Cherry, Sweet
Less hardy than pie cherries, these sweet cherries will do better with protection from afternoon sun in the winter as well as the northwest wind. All of these require another sweet cherry variety nearby for pollination.
