About Brown Snout
Traditional English bittersweet cider apple that flowers late and avoids late frosts. Produces a sweet, slightly astringent juice and makes a mild to medium bittersweet cider. Small green-yellow fruits with brown russeting on the underside, the “snout” it is named for. Self-fertile, so one tree will provide fruit. Polish 18 rootstock.
