We’re Bursting at the Seams
You've probably noticed we use every inch possible in both the State Fair Grandstand and outdoor area, as well as in our catalog, to bring you as many plants and as much information about the plants as we can. We are bursting at the seams!
Because we’re out of space, we’ve come up with a few ideas to help you get even more out of your plant sale experience.
- We're now adding even more detailed information to some of the individual plant pages on our website, particularly when we have more facts we think you would find useful. This info will not appear in the printed catalog. We will adjust as new information comes available.
- We have volunteers who are especially knowledgeable about certain plants and they want to share that information with you. Many belong to local and national plant societies, which also offer detailed information and welcome new members as well. If
- We have included contact information for many of these societies in the right sidebar of the blog —> and below. Other sources for information, in addition to Master Gardeners, are local garden clubs and the Minnesota State Horticultural Society.
We always like to get your feedback and suggestions for making our sale better. How did previously purchased plants perform for you? Did they bloom well? Were they what you expected, or kind of disappointing? Great flavor for edibles?
Are there plants we don't carry that you would like us find for you? Do you have a source for that plant? Please let us know via Facebook, or email to firstname.lastname@example.org, or drop a note in our new feedback box located at the Info Desk and Info Tent at the sale. Our goal is always a better plant sale and happy gardeners.
