About Lily, Griesbach
Dr. Griesbach is professor emeritus (biology and genetics) from DePaul University, Chicago, and renowned worldwide as an avant-garde hybridizer of lilies. He has intercrossed and backcrossed over succeeding generations, and added tetraploid forms of the species Lilium regale, L. leucanthum, and several commercially available Trumpet and Aurelian cultivars. This has resulted in a highly diverse array of stunning garden lilies. These are unnamed seedlings from Dr. Greisbach’s breeding.
