About Alcazar
Oldie-but-goodie (109 years old) with lavender standards overlaid in bronze. Falls are deep reddish purple with an orange beard. Rootbeer scent. Mid-season.
When introduced in 1910, Alcazar was one of the first garden tetraploids: bigger, more vigorous, adaptable, and disease-resistant, and with better substance and color.
