Bean, Yard Long

60–80 days. A climbing green bean from Asia. Flower color varies from white to pink to lavender. Though the beans can reach lengths of 36", the optimal picking length is between 12–18". Also called asparagus beans, yard-long beans, Chinese peas, snake beans, "dau gok," and "bodi" or "boonchi." See also Runner Beans in Climbing Plants.
