About Lily, Oriental

Oriental lilies are incredibly fragrant hybrids of species from Japan. Usually out-facing, they bloom from the end of July into August and prefer acidic soil. Likely to be short-lived in Minnesota. Doubles are also called "roselilies." See also the AOA Hybrid, Asiatic, LA, Martagon, Michigan, and Orienpet Lilies.
