About Yucca, Trunk-Forming

Selected for cold hardiness in Canada. Rosette of sword-shaped, spine-tipped leaves. When mature, tall stalks of fragrant white flowers bloom in summer. Likely to develop one or more woody trunks. Adam’s Needle (Y. filamentosa) heritage adds known hardiness and possibly the curly white threads the species is known for. Open-pollinated near many yucca species. Drought-tolerant and deer-resistant.
