About Yellow
Half a dozen fragrant pale yellow flowers per stalk. The six slender petals are widely separated and slightly curled back.
Probably originated in China as a natural hybrid, /Lycoris chinensis/ x /L. longituba/. The species name honors Sam Caldwell (1904-2000) of Nashville, Tennessee who was a well-known Lycoris breeder.
