Bright orange-red bracts from April through summer surround small yellow flowers that may produce a green lollipop-on-a-stick. Red stems through the season, and bronzy red-tinged leaves turn flame red in fall. Spreads gently by rhizomes. Avoid the irritating sap common to all Euphorbia.
