About Lemon Meringue
Yellow flowers with charcoal stems on a vase-shaped plant. This series, with varieties named for desserts, was painstakingly hybridized by Hans Hansen of Walters Gardens, formerly of Minnesota, to achieve spikes of uniquely colored flowers and dense branching blue-green foliage. Huge ornamental smoky seed pods follow the flowers.
