About Lockwood de Forest

Carpet of pungent, needle-like foliage. Excellent for cascading over garden edges or walls. Discovered in the Santa Barbara garden of Lockwood and Elizabeth de Forest. Small lavender flowers.

About Rosemary

Enhances many meat and vegetable dishes, vinegars, and dressings. Use for a refreshing bath or hair rinse. Likes poor soil, not too much water, and hot sun. To over-winter this non-hardy shrub indoors, keep it potted during the summer and place in a south or west window in fall. Do not over-water. If brought inside, it will make small deep blue-lavender flowers in winter to early spring. Suitable for bonsai. Deer-resistant.
