About Lavender, English

Upright spikes of small flowers rebloom into fall with regular deadheading. Very fragrant and dries beautifully for potpourri. Very few varieties are fully hardy in Minnesota, but can be over-wintered indoors or treated as an annual. Needs excellent drainage to survive the winter. Can be added to sugar, shortbread, or lemonade. Heat- and drought-tolerant. Deer- and rabbit-resistant.
